A Child Care Institution (CCI) officially known as Balakashram (बालकाश्रम), functioning under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, Women and Child Development Department, and CARA (Central Adoption Resource Authority) guidelines. The institution cares for orphan, abandoned, and street children, children of single parents, and those rescued from child labor, abuse, or trafficking. It serves children generally from 0 to 18 years of age.
